ABOUT
SETSUKO TORII started in 1992 as a knitwear brand of Avril Co., Ltd.
She later went independent and opened an atelier with an attached shop near Gojo Karasuma in Kyoto.
She has continued to create stress-free knitwear that brings out the individuality of the wearer, with a focus on materials.
In November 2025, she moved to Ano, Otsu, and opened ANOU STUDIO.
While maintaining the same stance as before, including SETSUKO TORII knitwear, Ito no Kura yarn, and classes,
she hopes to offer new ideas using the rich nature of Ano as a spice.
